Plans for 2025

I plan to create YouTube video essays, short documentaries and explainers instead of long written essays and blogs. This follows research that YouTube viewing is increasing, and our time spent reading is declining. While I learn tools for video creation, some of the videos will be janky and awkward. But they’ll improve. That’s what it’s like to learn and get better, it won’t be perfect. Hopefully they’ll be interesting, entertaining and informative, too.

Why create this site?

Because while you inspire me, I want to know what inspires you. So, what inspires you? The intention of this site to start a dialogue. The words on the page (or information on the screen) is the starting point to a two-way conversation. And there’s a lot to discuss, everything from generative or agentic AI to Climate Change adaptations
